Yuki Baba is a Senior Advisor to Odyssey’s Japan Real Estate Department, with a specialization in Japanese Hospitality Real Estate, particularly the Ryokan Sector (traditional Japanese Inns). Yuki supports Odyssey with her extensive personal industry experience, network of operators, brokers, private sellers and associations with a multitude of service providers and industry professionals.
Yuki has extensive experience in the Ryokan sector. Previously a Ryokan owner herself, Yuki has first-hand experience operating, restructuring, managing and exiting this unique asset type. Yuki provides deep insight and skills to drive new business plans, enhance profits, promotion to international clientele and leading exit strategies to completion.
Yuki started her career as an international cabin attendant at All Nippon Airways. She then moved into the finance sector, working in the air leasing department of Chase Investment Bank, in Tokyo.
Yuki holds a BA of History from the University of the Sacred Heart (Japan) and a MA from Birkbeck, University of London.
